Renting

How do I arrange a viewing?

Send a request through the contact form and choose Requesting a viewing. Tell us which home you are interested in and when you would like to see it, and we will come back to you with a time.

How quickly will I hear back?

Viewing requests and matters from tenants come first. We usually reply within one or two working days.

How long is the minimum tenancy?

Our tenancies run for at least twelve months, and longer tenancies are welcome. The minimum term for each home is shown on its listing.

What do I need to sign the agreement?

A valid passport or national ID card. The tenancy agreement is made in writing, directly with Cymerion Ltd.

Is there an agency fee?

No. Cymerion owns its homes and lets them directly, so there is no agent and no agency fee.

Costs and payment

What is included in the rent?

Each listing shows what the rent includes and which bills the tenant pays. As a rule, common expenses for the building are included, and the tenant pays utility bills such as electricity, water and internet.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit for each home is shown on its listing. It is held for the length of the tenancy and returned when it ends, less the cost of any damage beyond normal wear and tear. If a different arrangement would suit you better, say so when you enquire.

How is the rent paid?

Monthly, by bank transfer to Cymerion Ltd's own company account. We never ask for any payment before the tenancy agreement is signed, and we never ask for cash.

The homes

Are the homes furnished?

It depends on the home. Each listing says how it is furnished and lists what is included. Ask us if you need something that is not on the list.

Are pets allowed?

Each listing says whether pets are allowed in that home. If you have a pet, mention it when you enquire.

Can I see the energy performance certificate?

Yes. Every listing shows the home's energy class, and the certificate itself is available on request.

Why is the exact address not on the listing?

Each listing names the area the home is in. We give the exact address when you enquire, which protects the privacy of the people who live there.

Living there

How do I report a repair?

Use the contact form and choose An existing tenant. Tenants also get a direct contact for urgent matters when they move in.
